The basics
What does Recellion actually do?+
Recellion is the independent attestation layer for the dispatch-warranty boundary. We check how a battery was operated against the terms of its contracts and issue a neutral, tamper-evident record of each period that both the dispatcher and the owner can rely on.
What is the "envelope"?+
The envelope is your contract turned into machine-checkable rules. Warranty, LTSA and tolling terms become a versioned, signed ruleset, with counterparty sign-off and a link back to the source clause each rule came from.
Where does the operating data come from?+
Settlement-meter data first. It is ingested independently, hashed and timestamped, so the record stands on an inspectable chain of custody rather than on either party’s own systems.
What we do not do
Do you decide who is at fault?+
No. We surface conformity and exceptions and flag warranty, augmentation and penalty exposure as it happens. We assign no fault and take no side; the record is the neutral basis the parties use to resolve it.
Does this replace my meters, EMS or contracts?+
No. Recellion is an overlay. We do not replace field hardware or control systems and we do not rewrite your agreements; we turn the terms and the telemetry you already have into records both sides trust.
Do you see my dispatch strategy or trading IP?+
No. Recellion only attests. We never dispatch or trade, so there is no conflict to manage. We measure how the asset ran against the signed envelope, nothing more.
Relying on the record
How does the record hold up in a dispute?+
Three things stand behind it: a published, content-hashed exception method applied the same way every period, independent meter data with a verifiable chain of custody, and contractual standing as the mutually accepted monitor named in the agreement.
What is in an evidence pack?+
A single structured export of the signed records, the envelope version they were checked against, and the underlying provenance, ready for a claim, refinancing or sale.
Who relies on the record?+
Dispatchers and optimisers prove they stayed inside the envelope, owners and investors see exceptions the moment they happen, and lenders and insurers underwrite against one record instead of competing spreadsheets.
